Care at a glance
The snowball shrimp is a white bred form from the same group as the cherry shrimp, and owes its name not to its body but to its eggs: these are white and look like little snowballs. It is just as easy and productive as its red relative.
Important: different colour forms from this group interbreed, after which the offspring revert to a plain grey-brown. If you want to keep the colour, house one form per tank and give them moss, leaf litter and some vegetable food.
