Care at a glance
The sebae anemone has long, pointed tentacles often tipped in purple or magenta, on a leathery, tough column. It is regularly sold bleached, stark white from the loss of its symbiotic algae; such animals are weakened and recover only under ideal conditions.
So buy only a specimen with clear colour and a firm, attached foot. It asks for strong lighting, stable parameters and a mature tank; screen your pumps, because this species too can start to wander.
