Mini maxi carpet anemone

Care at a glance

The mini maxi carpet anemone is a miniature version of the large carpet anemones: it stays small enough for a nano tank, but has the same short, sticky tentacles in often fluorescent colours. It attaches firmly to a rock and after that barely moves.

Its tentacles are strongly adhesive, so it can catch small fish and shrimp that come too close. Give it moderate light, gentle flow and the occasional small piece of meaty or shrimp food; clownfish usually do not accept it.
