Care at a glance
The julii cory is finely marked with separate black dots on a pale ground. What is sold under this name is in practice almost always the very similar three-line cory, in which the dots merge into lines; the true species is rare in the trade.
Care is the same for both: a fine sand floor, a group of its own kind and food that actually reaches the bottom. Keep it away from coarse gravel, which damages its sensitive barbels, and give it some shelter under wood or plants.
