Care at a glance
The cinnamon clownfish is a deep cinnamon brown to black with an orange face and belly and a single white bar behind the eye. Adult females turn darker and grow large, while males stay smaller and more orange, exactly as in its close relative the tomato clownfish.
It is hardy and easy, but over the years the female in particular claims a clear territory and defends it fiercely. Keep it as a pair in a spacious tank with a corner of its own, and do not add other clownfish species.
