Rotala is one of the most popular stem plants and, under strong light, shifts from green to orange-pink and deep red, especially in the tips. The round leaves the scientific name refers to only appear above water; submersed they are narrow and pointed.
It grows fast and branches at every trim, so regular topping gives you a dense bush. Simply replant the cut tops in the substrate; they root within a week almost every time.
