Care at a glance
Dwarf sagittaria forms short, grass-like leaves and spreads via runners that travel just below the substrate surface. In this way a few plantlets grow into a continuous lawn within a few months.
Unlike most carpeting plants it needs neither strong light nor CO2, which makes it one of the easiest foreground plants. Under plenty of light it stays short; under low light it stretches into a midground plant, which incidentally also looks perfectly good.
