Care at a glance
The confetti coral is a colourful LPS species known for its extreme, speckled colour patterns — hence the name — with spots and streaks in sometimes four or five colours at once on a single colony. It belongs to the same family group as blastomussa and acan.
Unlike many other LPS it's modest in its requirements: gentle light and weak flow are enough, so it also does well lower in the tank. That combination of striking colour and easy care has made it hugely popular in the collector corner of the hobby, where rare colour forms trade for high prices.
