The green tree coral grows as a branching shrub with soft, mostly green or grey branches densely set with small polyps. In flow the whole colony sways, which gives the tank a lot of movement.
It is one of the simplest soft corals: moderate light, moderate to strong flow and stable parameters are enough. It occasionally sheds a film and then keeps its polyps closed for a few days; that is part of its normal rhythm.
