Care at a glance
Bowerbanki is closely related to the scoly, but instead of one large polyp it forms a colony of several oval polyps side by side. The colours are often spectacular: bright green or orange mouths on a contrasting background.
It likes subdued light and gentle flow and therefore fits well low in the tank. Feed it a small piece of meaty or fish food in the evening now and then; it will then grow noticeably faster and the colony will expand with new polyps.
