Care at a glance
The harlequin tuskfish is banded in orange and white and has striking, bright blue canine teeth that remain permanently visible. Those teeth are not decoration but tools: in the wild it uses them to crack shellfish and crustaceans.
In the aquarium that means exactly what it sounds like: shrimp, hermit crabs and small snails disappear. Corals it usually leaves alone; give it a spacious tank with firmly anchored rockwork, because it likes to shift loose pieces while searching for food.
