The blue botia from the Mekong basin is grey-blue with vivid orange fins, a combination you see in few freshwater fish. It grows large for a botia and stays busy and inquisitive all its life.
It is a group animal with a clear pecking order, so keep several in a spacious tank with plenty of caves and sight breaks. Snails and small shrimp it treats as food, and it can be fairly rough with smaller or slower tankmates.
