Weeping moss owes its name to its habit: the shoots hang downwards instead of growing up, which gives the effect of a miniature weeping willow. Tied to a branch or rock it forms a green waterfall within months.
It grows slowly and likes cooler, clean water with some flow, so debris does not settle in it. Trim it regularly so it does not die off inside, and simply tie a new tuft back on: every piece grows on by itself.
