Care at a glance

Rhodactis is a mushroom coral with a velvety surface covered in short, branched outgrowths, which makes the disc look hairy. It comes in many colours, from green and brown to fluorescent blue and purple.

It is one of the easiest corals: subdued light, gentle flow and hardly any other demands. Large specimens can catch small fish, and the colony expands steadily, so give it its own rock with some space around it.
