Care at a glance
Yellow polyps form colonies of slender, bright yellow polyps standing like small flowers on a shared base. They are robust, spread steadily over rock and are therefore a rewarding splash of colour for a young reef tank.
They belong to the same group as palythoa, so wear gloves here too when fragging or moving them. They like moderate light with some flow and respond well to fine coral food; do keep a distance from sensitive neighbours, as they expand steadily.
